Brad C. Beatty, 39, formerly of Cove Gap, PA died March 28, 2019 in the ER of Corilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Virginia. Brad passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He had been a resident of Max Meadows, Virginia for the past year.
Born November 8, 1979 at McConnellsburg, PA he was a son of Pamela M. Kahn Beatty Barnes of Max Meadows, and the late Jeffrey C. Beatty.
Brad was an avid lover of the outdoors, four wheelers and motorcycles. He enjoyed working with youth. He loved his family and animals. He touched family member hearts in a special way. Brad was looking forward to walking with Jesus on those streets of gold.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother, Todd J. Beatty and fiancé, Betsy A. Starliper of Mercersburg, maternal grandparents, Ronald and Alice Skiles Kahn of Needmore, PA, nieces, Taylor Wissinger Beatty and Skyley Beatty, nephews, Triston Beatty and Dennis E. Johnson, Jr., special cousin, Braxton Hartman, other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his father, Brad was preceded in death by his step father, Anthony R. Barnes, who died December 5, 2017.
Viewing Wednesday April 3, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, followed by a funeral service beginning at 8 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Leon Yoder officiating.
The family requests the omission of flowers. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
