Obituary

Edward A. Heinbaugh, 73, of Greencastle, PA died November 12, 2019 at the Chambersburg, Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.

Born May 16, 1946 in Waynesboro, PA he was a son of the last Donald H. and Clara Lou (Boller) Heinbaugh.
Ed worked for 42 and a half years at Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, PA. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family, and antiquing. He was an avid marble collector. Ed attended Mt. Tabor Brethren In Christ Church, Mercersburg.

Surviving family include his wife of 40 years, Linda F. (Hornbaker) Heinbaugh. A daughter, Penny (Frank) Bumbaugh of Chambersburg, two sons, Chris (Betty) Heinbaugh of Martinsburg, WVA, and Steve (Lisa) Heinbaugh of Fairfield, PA. 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Four siblings, Donald (Sondi) Heinbaugh, John Heinbaugh, Linda (Tom) Faith, and Diana “Cricket” (Terry) Spangler all of Mercersburg. Ed was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert E. “Dump” Heinbaugh and Terry “Butch” Heinbaugh.

Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday November 16, 2019 at Mt. Tabor Brethren In Christ Church, Mercersburg, with Pastor Kevin Lay officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mercersburg.
Viewing 6 to 8 PM Friday at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg.

I worked briefly with Ed at Grove prior to his retirement and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I knew him to be very kind and it was an absolute pleasure to have made his acquaintance. I pray all the great memories of him will would provide healing to the family.
