Obituary

Mabel Lucille Koser, 92, formerly of Mercersburg, PA died December 26, 2019 at the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Mabel had resided at Heritage Hills Retirement Community, Greencastle, PA.
Born December 22, 1927 in Welsh Run, PA, she was a daughter of the late George and Irene (Carbaugh) Clevenger.
Mabel had been employed at the former Stanley Company, Chambersburg, for 25 years. She loved her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Koser, Sr., a son, Charles E. Koser, Jr., and three brothers, Frank Clevenger, Dean Clevenger, and Harry Clevenger.
Surviving family include four children, Gerald & wife Dixie Koser, Marlowe, WVA, Linda & husband Butch Miller, Greencastle, Marvin & wife Linda Koser, Lemasters, PA, Gary & wife Cathy Koser, Cove Cap PA, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, 4 brothers, Donald, Merle, George, and Harold Clevenger, and a sister, Brenda Sites.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday December 30, 2019 in Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg, with Reverend Ronald Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Welsh Run Brethren Church Cemetery, Mercersburg.
Viewing 1 hour prior to the service Monday in the funeral home.
